Full Time Opportunities

Legal Counsel, Litigation Finance

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to help grow Siltstone’s rapidly expanding legal investment platform. The Legal Counsel’s primary responsibilities will include conducting diligence on investment opportunities in civil matters, especially in the patent infringement and energy sectors (as well as other commercial areas), assisting in the evaluation of potential investments and monitoring the progress of funded cases, including continuing assessment of prospects of success and recoverability. In addition, the Legal Counsel will assist in business development and marketing efforts to inform the North American market about Siltstone’s legal funding and management capabilities. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities and tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail. Required qualifications include a law degree, a federal or state supreme court clerkship and experience with case evaluation methods from either a top law firm or litigation funder.

Internships

SUMMER ANALYST

We are seeking a summer analyst to work side-by-side with financial professionals to evaluate potential investments and execute transactions. The Summer Analyst’s primary responsibilities will include conducting research, assisting in the evaluation of potential investments and organizing information relevant to these investments. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities and tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail. Required qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Excel, strong quantitative and analytical skills, and current status as an undergraduate junior with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Other preferred qualifications include a background in accounting or finance and proficiency in R, Python or VBA. Successful Summer Analysts will be considered for a full-time role on the team.
